Affection and attention is the best thing you can provide when taking care of terrier puppies. Especially when they are going to be separated from their father, mother, brothers and sisters it will make them feel at ease and comfortable. As much as possible do not scare them by yelling and hurting them. They are just puppies so they can be sensitive. Sometimes when they are alone, they tend to cry because they are lonely and scared. The crying and the whimpering will pass when they are already acquainted with the place.
Taking care of terrier puppies also includes the surroundings of your home. You must make sure that it safe for the puppies to play around. You do not your terrier puppies to meet an accident or harm themselves. Make them acquainted with their bed space while they are still young. Where they eat and drink should also be taught to them and especially going out to take a leak or litter. Tell them where they can go and where they cannot by saying “no”.
