Pitbull Puppys
The pit bull terrier puppies are also known as American pit bull terrier. They were first recognized and registered by the United Kennel Club (UKC). They are a crossbreed of the bulldog breed and the terrier. The dog lovers from Scotland, Ireland and England wanted to mix the strength of the bulldog to the agility of the terrier. These pit bull terrier puppies were then introduced in the United States. The farmers used them mainly as hunters of rodents, catch dogs, to guard live stocks and as a companion.
Since they are very athletic they excel in several dog sports such as:
- weight pulling;
- dog agility;
- flyball;
- lure coursing; and
- advanced obedience competition.
They are an excellent working dog because of their strength, stamina, agility and intelligence. In the United States, they are known to do the following:
- police dogs;
- rescue dogs;
- border patrol dogs;
- hearing dog for the deaf; and
- service dog.

Puppy
Because of their image as a tough dog, they are often times used for dog fighting. Though this is prevalent it is prohibited in 49 states in the United States. Whoever is caught is charged with felony. Even though the pit bull terrier puppies are strong they are still abused especially when they do not obey their owners. The pit bull terrier puppies are trained in their early years for fighting. In cases abuse of the pit bull terrier puppies, the animal control is automatically in-charge of them.
